Live and Work

Live and work would be more acuratly described as Live and Play.  While Lander and the surrounding area has a wide array of employment and entrepreneurial possibilities, it is the community, the people and mother nature that represent the crown jewels.

Lander is a mix of genuine people from all different backgrounds and with all different interests who enjoy the outdoors and take great pride in being a, "community" not just a place to live. 

Lander has a first rate educational system from pre-school through post-secondary education.  Lander is a family oriented community that provides opportunities most would not expect to find.  The Lander Parks and Recreation Department provides a diverse group of programs for children and adults including sports of all kinds and the incredibly popular Sinks Canyon Camp for during the summer. 

The Lander Art Center, the Lander Children's Museum, Wyoming Shakespeare Company, Fremont County Orchestra, Lander Community Concert Series, PALS (Parents for Arts in Lander Schools) and the Central Wyoming College Theatre department all provide amazing opportunities.
